Agency requesting proposals from firms to develop content for and facilitate workshop modules pertaining to Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping related to the development of rooftop and ground mount solar projects. The successful provider must have in-depth experience instructing GIS and its usages for the development of solar projects. They must be able to develop course content relevant to preparing youth from across Canada to pursue careers related to the usage or understanding of GIS. The selected provider will facilitate training for 200 participants across Canada virtually over the course of 10 separate training modules. The syllabus for the modules is the responsibility of the training provider. Providers are encouraged to put forth the most effective and efficient method of developing such a syllabus in their proposal.
