[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals

[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide professional services for the evaluation and to design site development of playground projects for our school district to the educational organization located in Hendersonville, NC.
• Site visits, familiarization, and evaluation of thirteen playgrounds.
• Attendance at meetings as needed with staff.
• Organize and conduct public meetings to provide information and gather input from stakeholders, which may include staff, school principals, teachers, students, parent, and other interested parties.
• Provide presentations and updates as needed to staff and the board of education.
• Provide design and permitting services which may include survey coordination, drainage, grading, erosion control, storm water, landscaping, ADA accessible routes and play equipment, parking considerations, seating, trash receptacles, shade structures, etc.
• Coordination with playground equipment suppliers regarding design and potential equipment needs.
• Preliminary cost information for implementing the above.
• Prepare bidding administration services to include assistance with preparation of an RFP, bid advertisement, pre-bid agenda and meeting, attend and conduct bid opening, review bid proposals, certify bid tabulation, and recommend award to selected bidder.
• Conduct RFP procedure to comply with all federal uniform guidance requirements.
• Provide project construction coordination, administration, and oversight with playground equipment manufacturers and site contractors.
• Provide final inspection services.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than July 5, 2022.
