[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide inpatient evacuation coordination planning services to the government authority located in Boston, MA.
- seeking qualified respondents in the integration of healthcare system evacuation into jurisdictional evacuation plans. Building off of the evacuation planning and modeling completed
- project initiative is intended to focus on the needs of the community in the event one or more in-patient care facilities evacuate, specifically transportation coordination and execution.
Consideration should be given but not limited to whether hospitals and healthcare facilities require dedicated evacuation routes; priority access to routes; or dedicated timeframes for
evacuation - this information must be incorporated into the larger regional evacuation network with updated modelling information
- This project focus will be to conduct a comprehensive transportation review and analysis, with
the goal of completing a transportation assessment leading to the development of a tool to guide the decision-making process for the number and type of assets required to conduct a facility
evacuation(s),
- The assessment will identify existing transportation assets in the region, identify resource gaps, and provide recommendations for additional planning for healthcare evacuation,
- multi-discipline, multi-jurisdictional project will account for the interests of patients/residents, the evacuating facilities, as well as the interest of emergency medical services (EMS) and
transportation services.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than February 26, 2021.
