Vendor needs to provide admissions and financial aid chatbot solution to assisting students with general questions 24/7/365, a chatbot solution would also help provide a consistent experience for students when contacting the offices.
- University seeks a targeted chatbot platform that can assist students with general recruitment and financial aid questions
- Financial aid fields over 5500 calls on average in august and approximately half of that in September and October
- Admissions fields over 37k phone calls annually (average 3k monthly)
- Financial aid and admissions web site we believe many are in search of information that could be efficiently delivering through an automated response chat solution
- Ability to customize the responses and eventually expand the solution to meet similar needs in our registrar and bursar offices
- To deploy an auto-responding, interactive chatbot solution that our prospective students can access through either the campus public website, or through the slate applicant “portal”. initially, we would like to pilot a simple link-out to the chatbot system from select web pages and pages in the slate portal
- Implement a chatbot program for admissions that will allow prospective students to get general questions answered 24/7/365
- Ability for the chatbot to be able to be expanded to meet similar needs in our bursars and registrar’s offices
- Ability to also embed or incorporate the chat experience directly into web content. specifically, web content managed in the Drupal CMS
- Ability to incorporate in web content via a simple URL “link out” function (no requirement to embed complex JavaScript, CSS, or other code)
- Cloud-based/successful bidder hosted
- Ability to embed or incorporate the chat experience directly into in slate pages a/o forms
- Ability to customize and add content for automated responses
- Provide an SMS text-based interface
- Ability to export usage and analytics data
- Compatible with Drupal CMS
- Ability to group answers by page, office or audience (i.e., transfers versus first year, financial aid versus bursar)
- Ability to send chat transcript via email to chatbot end user.
