[B] Scope of Service:

Vendor needs to provide Web Strategy Services To improve its web presence and brand identity embarking on an agile Web Platform Development Process.
- Web Platform Development process will consist of three complementary and overlapping phases
1. Phase I: Branding and pre-vendor working groups – Identify brand platform (i.e. vision/purpose, mission, values, essence, target audiences, positioning statements, manifesto, personality, tone of voice, tag lines etc.). Prepare documents for vendor onboarding in Phase II.
2. Phase II: Strategy and Design – Translate the outcomes of Phase I into a robust visual identity and
a web strategy (i.e. how we engage our audiences and the best web design, structure, and
content to achieve that).
3. Phase III: Development – Technical build of the architecture designed in the Strategy and Design
phase including underlying databases, content migration/population, and switchover.
• Project management plan for this phase of the process (Phase II) using an agile methodology,
including roles and responsibilities, objectives, success indicators, activities, deliverables, tools,
timelines, change management plan, risk analysis and mitigation plan, quality control,
communications and governance plans, and documentation strategy to ensure the full process is
captured etc.
- Web engagement architecture to connect with, and guide, our audiences through a positive UNU
web experience. Includes scenario mapping/user flows, personal creation and testing, mind
mapping, prototyping, usability testing etc.
- Content taxonomy and framework to determine content categories, sections, keywords, etc. to
organise UNU’s broad and varied content across the entire web platform for consistency, easy
- Content governance guidelines including user roles, universal terminology, editorial style and voice,
asset rules (naming conventions, credits, metadata, etc.), workflows and documentation.
- Visual identity/brand guidelines document for core online and offline instances (i.e. logo and
masthead, colour system, typography, and core/specialized collateral examples presented).
